These are Merrell Continuum boots. They have Vibram soles and some type of wicking material as part of their upper surface. They are warm in the winter and comfortable in warm weather. They have kept my feet comfortable and dry for two weeks of “mixed” weather in England and Scotland.
Highly recommended. That is all.

You should shoot for an endorsement! Merrells for life as a minimum
I’m currently in the marketplace to replace my old boots.
Some questions:
(1) How long do you expect them to last? 10 years? 20 years?
(2) Using these boots, can you hammer a nail? a stake?
(3) Kinda of (2A). How insulated are your feet when stepping on sharp edges?
(4) How’s the ankle support?
1. 4-5 years. My Herman’s survivor work boots, I expect those to go 20. These Merrill’s are far too comfortable to last that long. I’ll be buying some more when these go, I’ll tell ya that.
2. Haven’t tried. Doubt it. I always find a rock for that.
3. Relatively. Been on bunches of jagged rocks and they were completely isolated. The sole is very hard. Prolly wouldn’t stop a bullet or as word tho.
3. Make that “a sword”.
4. Decent. These are low boots, just above the ankle bone.
I’ll show me to ya in July if you can wait that long. Like I said, I’ve owned lots of boots and outdoor shoes, and these are by far the best ones I’ve ever had.
