John and Becci are based in Nevada. They live with 2 dogs and an ever-growing record collection. In 2013, they excused themselves from the daily routine and decided to travel around the world for 12 months. It was the start of their love affair with ‘the road’ – which they jump on as much as possible.
During their year-long travels, they visited 22 countries on 5 continents, including 17 states within the United States during a 5500-mile road trip. Every couple of days, they sat down and wrote about their experiences, their travel joys and utter failures, the history they learned and stories about all the extra stuff that happens when you live out of a backpack for 11 months.
After 15 months of non-stop Nashville, with a Burning Man trip in the middle, their most recent adventure was in October 2016 – 18 days in Iceland completing a full circle of the island via 4X4. Check out their most recent itinerary here.
This is not a ‘how to do it’ blog or page after page of travel recommendations…this is their artifact, a travelogue of the journey.
